It Begins With a Tree.
Over 1800 trees to be exact.
Terrace Hill is a 15 acre Italian olive farm grown in sunny California. The unique climate in this area has the ideal growing conditions for olive fruit.
The olives are planted on a southwest facing slope in calcareous rich soil.
We have 7 different Italian Tuscan olive varietals growing here at the farm: Frantoio, Leccino, Maurino, Pendolino, Taggiasca, Picholine and Casaliva,
all of which are used to make oils that have consistently won Gold medals.

Once plump, our olives are picked by hand and processed locally the same day. This allows the Terrace Hill family to bring the olive oil back to the farm as quickly as possible for storage to ensure freshness!
This super fresh oil is then stored in a climate-controlled space until bottled by hand to order.
Our Olives Are Grown in wine country.
The olives are smack in the middle of one of the best regions in the world for wine growers, Paso Robles California.
In addition to the many many olive trees, Tucker Family Farms grows Petite Sirah and Zinfandel wine grapes!

Natural & Sustainable
We pride ourselves on using natural farming practices.
We are happy to say that we are chemical-free, encourage natural growth to cultivate and enrich the soil beneath our olives and grape vines. We plant barley and wildflowers throughout the fields.
In addition, we have multiple raptor perches and thoughtfully placed Bird houses throughout the farm with barn owl families living in them year round… for natural pest control.
